A Visit with Great Gram

We went to my Gram's this past Sunday. Went out for a lovely dinner and Carina even ate applesauce, mac-n-cheese, baked corn and pumpkin muffin. We walked around the Country Cupboard gift shop afterward and Carina had many adoring fans. It's so much fun to take her out and let her walk around places now that she walks so well. We even bought her new shoes (see below).

She is definitely getting more outgoing at times too. Last night she was standing at the front screen door and our new neighbor Tabi was sitting in her car. Carina waved and smiled and then proceeded to carry on a loud conversation across the front yard. It was so sweet.

Wedding

Chris and Ryan got married! We spent the night in Jersey and brought my Mom along to babysit. Everybody had a great time (except for the getting lost part and Carina staying awake from 10-12 when all I wanted to do was sleep). Congrats!!!

Linz and Celia came up for a play date last week!

On the Road Again

Another family weekend. We spent Saturday night at my parents'. Went to a birthday picnic for my cousin Jessica's two boys and went to church together Sunday morning. Went out to eat at Friendly's and Carina made friends with the next table over - little flirt. Got to visit my Great Mom-Mom while we were there too so that was nice. Carina showed off her walking for everyone. I have a feeling climbing stairs may be next on her to-do list.

Family Photos

For Mother's Day I set up a portrait session with friends of ours (Mike and Missy) who also photographed our wedding and Carina's newborn portraits. I was so disappointed that my sister-in-law and my oldest niece couldn't be there but I do love the pictures we got.

Creeking with Whitney

Last Sunday Carina and I met up with my college roomie Whitney at Messiah College for a walk and a little cool down in the creek. There were SO many people there tubing and kayaking on the creek. Many had brought their own beer... and the beer had its own tube too! Fun times.
